Match Report
Scotch College 1sts vs  Trinity College
On: Saturday, 16 Feb 2019
Venue: Away

The boys beat Trinity 20-4 on a quick and absolute dominant game.

?We have had a chance to play everyone in the water at least 2 quarters and our new year 10 students did really well, played some confident water polo at Trinity's pool.

I could mention many names from the victory against Trinity but I'd like to pick a few that was outstanding for me/us looking at it from our team's perspective. Charlie Thomas played a great game in goals just like his goalie partner Sam Lodge did in the first game of term 1. Charlie had a lot of one on one saves and only allowed the opposition to score 4 goals in total throughout the 4 quarters.

In our attack, I must mention that our vice captain Ben Howie scored 3 very important and confident goals during the game.

His younger brother Matthew has also showcased his skills and took two quick and important goals early in the game. These two players in particular really stepped up in the finishing part of our attack which has moved our whole team forward.

Fraser Davis went through the baptism of fire and played his first game among the senior firsts with his other two new team mates Will Marshall and Matt Howie playing their second. We are looking forward to play well against our stronger opponents too and improve our results from last term.
