Match Report
Scotch College 1sts vs  Christ Church Grammar School
On: Saturday, 09 Mar 2019
Venue: Away

Christ Church's first water polo team proved to be too strong to us on last Saturday at Trinity's pool.

It was a good effort from the boys scoring 7 goals but the 15 goals against us unfortunately was too many to let in.

We have lost the ball few times and a couple of bad decision in attack resulted us not being able to transition back to our defensive part of the game well enough. The two outstanding players were Sam Lodge, who was very strong in goals and Julian Kyriakou who scored 3 important goals during the game beside his important role as a centre back. Even though it was our defence that let us down against one of the toughest opponent in the PSA competition, our finishing touch in attack and the transition back to defend our goal is where we need to improve. With more patience, attention to details and wise decisions in the water, we will be able to perform well and have good chances to win our last two games this year.
