Match Report
Scotch College 1sts vs  Trinity College
On: Saturday, 08 Feb 2020
Venue: Away

Scotch College has a very new-look team this term with the long term injury to our only goalkeeper, Sam Lodge, changing dynamic of the team. Jake Marshall played in goals this week and to his credit did a good job.

We started the first quarter well scoring the first 2 goals but conceded three late goals to lose the first quarter 3-2. Our second quarter was strong and we outscored Trinity 7 goals to 0 with Will Marshall and Rory White both scoring three goals each.

Trinity outplayed us in the third quarter and outscored us 4 goals to 3.

Scotch held off a spirited Trinity in the final quarter with a 3-3 scoreline.

Our individual skill execution this week was poor in defense and we missed many good opportunities in attack. We were also missing field players Julian Kyriakou, Noah Brown and Declan Cook and hopefully they are all back for an important game next week against Hale School.
